Red Lips: Burberry Union Red No.17

I treated myself to a really awesome lipstick this week. I can't wait to show this baby off on our honeymoon! Shall I wear it to a Parisian cafĂ© or dinner in Venice? Oh getting so excited! Don't red lips make you feel sexy?

Tricks For Getting The Perfect Red Lips by Burberry Makeup Artists
- Get a great lip liner similar in color. This will prevent your lipstick from spreading (aka bleeding).
-Use a lip brush to apply color
-Apply extra color to the center of your lips, it will make your lips appear fuller. This is the first place where lipstick tends to fade, so lay it on thick!
-To avoid the dreaded lipstick teeth...put your index finger in your mouth and gently close your lips around it, then pull your finger out. Any extra lipstick will come off on your finger. Keep those pearly whites bright!
-POWDER! Carefully apply facial powder just beyond your lip liner. This will help keep everything in place and give you lips that extra pop.

I really love it. It glides on smooth and lasts for hours. Burberry lipstick is on the pricier side but I think it's well worth the money. They have several rich colors to choose from and each lipstick is blended with rose extract, which smells amazing!

Bed Lovin

Beds I'm in love with...
Dan just moved into a little one bedroom house about 2 months ago. I haven't moved in yet -- we're keeping it old school and I'll move in after we get married, but I've been having so much fun getting this house ready to be our home ! We've moved in some hand-me-down furniture, a desk and a few sweet Salvation Army finds (our kitchen and coffee table) but...Dan has been sleeping on the floor for 2 months now (we don't have a bed yet). I've been scouring the Internet and every furniture store I drive by, looking for a bed frame that we are in love with (not too girly, not too masculine, but just right). Here are some fabulous beds that I stumbled across in my search for our comfy, cozy first bed!

P.S. Dan and I found an amazing chocolate brown tufted bed (it looks very similar to the bed in the 5th picture). I'll share it with you when we get it -- it's back ordered until August. Bummers...but good things are worth the wait!
