Deals! Sheinside vs. Free People & Anthropologie

Ok, these dresses look the same to me...am I right? I've been looking at some summer dresses on the Free People site lately and found this Embroidered Fable Dress that is absolutely gorgeous -- but  for a $168??? No thanks. I'll get the one that looks exactly like it at Sheinside for $32.67! Sure, I bet it's not made as well and the material might be different, but really...they look pretty darn similar! Score! If you look at Sheinside's website you'll find many dresses that are strikingly similar to Free People and Anthroplogie...I mean almost identical. Cool huh? I see what you're doing Sheinside and I dig it!

Oh and I also got this cute little jacket...I couldn't resist!

If you are into finding fun deals, I did a post on Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats eons ago that cost $754...mine cost $19.37!  I found some look-alikes on Sammy Dress. Go check out these sites! They are perfect for switching up your wardrobe without spending a fortune.

A week or two later...it came! A+++. Here is what the dress looks like! ^^^

Wedding Dresses

My best friend Shan is getting married to her dreamy Naval Pilot Justin and she asked me to be her matron of honor! Double stoked! And it gets even better...Dan is going to be one of Justin's groomsmen! It'll be fun to walk down the aisle again with my hub ;) We are so excited to help with the planning and join in the celebration of their big day. They have already picked their dream venue at Twin Oaks. Swoooooon! And we've started the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. I've been reminiscing about my own hunt for the dress and have been pinning some beautiful new styles. Here are a few of my current favorites -- similar to dresses we've been looking for Shanny. Cheers to the wedding season, happy friends and all the fun to come!

Warby Parker X Architecture For Humanity

I received an email from Warby Parker the other day asking if I could contribute a post for their new summer collection. Who me!? Of course I will…I love their glasses and I love what they do – They partner with non-profits like VisionSpring  to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

For those of you who don't know about Warby Parker, they are an awesome internet-based company that sells classically crafted eyewear at a revolutionary price. No more $300 glasses from your Doctor! Yahooo!
And it gets even better…they let you try on 5 glasses at a time {5 days, 5 pairs, 100% free}! They’ll ship you the ones you like so you can try them on at home. You keep your favorite(s) and send back the rest on their dime. Pretty neat, huh?
This summer, Warby Parker is partnering with Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit that improves the livelihood of communities around the world through building safe places to learn, play and live. This Summer Warby Parker salutes Architecture for Humanity’s 15th Anniversary with two collaboration frames, Fowler and Aslin, inspired by an appreciation for streamlined angles and built-to-last materials.
A portion of each purchase goes to the organization, and as always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
Very Cool.
